We are based at Aston Park Fishery, two minutes drive from junction 31 of the M1 motorway. Click the links below to find out more about the fishery and our classroom there.

Aston Park Fisheries

We run most of our sessions at the fantastic Aston Park Fisheries which is located just off junction 31 of the M1 and is within easy reach of Sheffield and the surrounding area.  With seven well stocked lakes Aston Park Fisheries is one of the finest commercial fisheries in the area.  This is a mixed species fishery and is home to various carp to 30lbs, tench to 3lbs, bream to 4lbs aswell as huge stocks of roach, perch, barbel, Ide and crucians.   This fishery is ideal for anyone wanting to learn how to fish with bites almost guaranteed. There are plenty of level, easily accessible pegs with parking directly behind, making it the ideal choice for those with mobility issues or disabilities. Plus, the huge well stocked tackle shop, Waters edge cafe and modern, clean toilets help to make this a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.

Lakeside classroom

New for 2024 is our classroom situated right next to Elysias pond, which is the main pond we use at Aston Park. This classroom space offer us the ability to operate all year round, whatever the weather. From rig tying to species identification and much more inbetween, we can now offer much more to our sessions.

Ecclesfield Dam

We occasionally run sessions at Ecclesfield Dam, a mixed fishery which is located in north Sheffield, just on the edge of the village of Ecclesfield, and within easy reach of junction 35 of the M1 motorway. This is a well stocked fishery and is ideal for beginners wanting to experience lots of action, never knowing exactly what you are going to hook next. The main species here are roach, perch, carp, skimmers, bream, chub, tench and barbel. Best methods tend to be float fished maggots or casters but pellets, corn and boilies will work well if targeting the larger fish like carp.

“its good, try it now!”
